Vickery Electric was first introduced to the Marine Electrical industry in 1955, when called upon to assess and correct an emergency situation at MacNamara Marine. That situation developed into a trusted relationship that has lasted over 50 years.

c has been involved in the Marine Industry, they have provided electrical design, engineering, and around the clock service to the merchant marine, naval and coast guard fleets in Ontario. From Ferries to Ice Breakers, Tugs to Cruise Vessels, Dredges to Submarines, Vickery Electric has been involved in repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting and designing all makes of equipment on every type of vessel.

Two projects of note that Vickery Electric completed the custom electrical engineering design and installation were for the Maid of the Mist VII and Toronto Fire’s William Lyon MacKenzie.  Vickery Electric designed, built, installed, and continues to maintain the electrical systems on these heralded vessels.  In fact, two major articles have been written about Vickery Electric’s involvement.
