Network Services
Installing network cabling systems is a task that Vickery Electric has
been performing for over 20 years. Vickery Electric was a pioneer of the
industry, having installed the first computer installations in the Durham
Region in 1979 and 1982, for the Ministry of Health and Solicitor General.
This system is still in use today, despite the rampant redundancy that
many modern systems claim.
It is Vickery Electric's thorough understanding of the electrical industry
that led to this accomplishment. Prior to ANSI/TIA/EIA Standards, John
T. G. Vickery understood the negative impact that major electrical outputs
could have on a network system. It is for this reason that John T. G.
was asked to manage the LAC (Local Apprenticeship Committee). It was with
his help that the Network Cable Specialist officially became recognized
as a trade.
John T. G.'s knowledge has led Vickery Electric to become a market leader.
Vickery Electric's Network Cabling division is committed to meeting the
growing needs of clients who require specialized cabling for their telephone
and computer systems. Every apprentice hired is trained in the trade of
network cabling, making no job too big or too small for Vickery to
handle.
Vickery specializes in providing a wide range of reliable, cost effective
voice and data services. These include the design, installation and maintenance
of EIA/TIA Standards based upon structured premise cabling systems. |
