Vickery Electric's First Lightning Rod System installation was back in 1982. It was a Church in Oshawa Ontario. "I recall because I was the one who had to install the Copper Air Terminal on the Top of the Steeple, it was a long way up". 

Vickery Electric feels that Grounding systems are a crucial aspect to the electrical industry. As part of the Vickery Electric's Electrician's Educational Program all Employees are certified in Lightning Rod and Grounding Installations. Recent installations include Royal Ashburn Golf Club (Home of the Canadian Professional Golf Associations Qualifying School) and one of Canada's most prestigious Golf Courses.

Vickery Electric Contracting installs Heary Bros Lightning Rod Systems from Fort Erie Ontario. Heary Bros (a four generation company) provides independent engineering and manufacturing. Vickery Electric (a four generation company) provides quality installations including Ontario Fire Marshall Certification of each project. Other Grounding Projects include Cad Weld and Bonding of Transformer Substations, Electrical Services, Pad Mount Transformers and Traffic Control Systems.
